1st Brand in Latin America

According to a study conducted by Future Brand about the positioning of country brands, the image of Costa Rica is currently the most valued of all Latin America, even overtaking some of the giants of tourism such as Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Peru by several positions.

The minimalist slogan of Costa Rica, “No artificial ingredients” has reaped outstanding results for the country, which now ranks 24 globally and in first place in Latin America.  In the categories of patrimony and natural beauty, Costa Rica is now ranked in the top 5 worldwide.

The study evaluated the perception of 3,500 frequent travelers from 14 developed countries who gave their point of view on subjects such as culture, society, business climate, patrimony and quality of life in relation to the 113 countries evaluated.  Then the results were complimented by the analysis of 103 experts in tourism, exports, investment and public policies and complimented by online debate among tourism professionals from around the world.
